ELAINE N.ARON, Ph.D., earned her degree in clinical psychology from Pacific Graduate Institute and completed her training at the San Francisco Jung Institute. Her work on sensory processing sensitivity and, with her husband, Art Aron, the scientific study of close relationships, has been widely published in academic journals. The Highly Sensitive Parent, The Highly Sensitive Child, The Highly Sensitive Person in Love, The Highly Sensitive Person Workbook, Psychotherapy and the Highly Sensitive Person, and The Undervalued Self are among her other works. She leads workshops for HSPs across the country and abroad, and she publishes a newsletter for them at www.hsperson.com.
