Elisa Kleven is the author and/or artist of more than thirty books, several of which have been recognized by the American Library Association, The New York Times/i>, The Junior Library Guild, School Library Journal, Bank Street College, The American Booksellers Association, and the American Institute of Graphic Arts. She and her husband, daughter, son, dog, and cats live in the San Francisco Bay Area.
