Elizabeth M Jones
Elizabeth McDavid Jones is the author of nine books for young people, as well as numerous periodical and serial pieces. Almost 750,000 copies of her books have been sold. Five of her books will be e-published in the Autumn of 2014 as part of Open Road's new Mysteries through History series. Elizabeth's writing has earned her the Edgar Allen Poe Prize and other accolades. Elizabeth has been a lifetime Methodist Church member who has worked in both children's and adult ministries for many years.
She's also a ten-plus-year veteran of Community Bible Study, an interdenominational, multinational Bible study organization with almost 700 classrooms across the United States, as well as classes in over 70 countries and 40 languages across the world. Liz has an MS in Literature and teaches at a local college. She is a self-taught Biblical scholar. She and her family live in North Carolina, where they share their home with a large brown dog and a mountain of dirty laundry.
