The Clever Carrot's inventor, cook, and photographer is Emilie Raffa. She's also the author of the clever cookbook The Clever Cookbook. She worked as a private chef after receiving classical training at the International Culinary Center. Emilie's work has appeared in Oprah Magazine, Women's Health Magazine, The Huffington Post, Food 52, Saveur, Food & Wine, Today Food, and Artful Blogging magazine, as well as in print. In the annual Saveur Blog Awards, she was a finalist for best food photography.
She also works as an editor at feedfeed, a digital culinary magazine. Emilie, her husband, and their two young sons live on Long Island.
