Emily  Fridlund

Emily Fridlund grew up in Minnesota and now lives in New York's Finger Lakes region. Boston Review, Zyzzyva, Five Chapters, New Orleans Review, Sou'wester, New Delta Review, Chariton Review, The Portland Review, and Painted Bride Quarterly have all published her writing. She graduated from the University of Southern California with a PhD in Literature and Creative Writing. Catapult, Fridlund's collection of short tales, was a Noemi Book Prize for Fiction and a Tartts First Fiction Award finalist. Sarabande will publish it in 2017 after winning the Mary McCarthy Prize. History of Wolves' first chapter was published in Southwest Review in 2013 and earned the McGinnis-Ritchie Prize for Fiction.
