Eric Ripert is the chef and co-owner of Le Bernardin in New York, which has received three Michelin stars and has been rated four stars by The New York Times for more than two decades. He is vice chairman of the board of directors of City Harvest, a New York-based food rescue group, and a recipient of France's highest decoration, the Legion d'Honneur. He is a regular guest judge on Bravo's Top Chef and the host of his own television show, Avec Eric, which has received Emmy and James Beard honors. Avec Eric, On the Line, A Return to Cooking, Le Bernardin: Four Star Simplicity, and My Best: Eric Ripert are among Ripert's five cookbooks.
