Erin Beaty was born and reared in Indianapolis, Indiana, and while she can't drive a tractor, she won't eat canned vegetables. She earned a bachelor's degree in rocket science from the United States Naval Academy and served in the navy as a weapons officer and a leadership instructor. She and her husband have five children, two cats, and a vegetable garden, and they move around according to the navy's orders. The Traitor's Trilogy is her first book.
