Eugene Bardach

Eugene Bardach has been teaching graduate-level policy analysis workshop sessions at the University of California, Berkeley's Goldman School of Public Affairs since 1973, and has guided over 500 projects during that time. He is a political scientist with a broad range of interests in both teaching and research. His research focuses on policy implementation and public administration, with a particular focus on how to improve interorganizational collaboration in service delivery (for example, in human services, environmental enforcement, fire control, and habitat preservation). He's also interested in homeland defense issues, as well as regulatory program design and implementation, notably in the areas of health, safety, consumer protection, and equal opportunity.
