Frank  Ostaseski

Frank Ostaseski is a Buddhist instructor who specializes in end-of-life care. He co-founded the Zen Hospice Project in 1987 and later established the Metta Institute to train healthcare professionals in compassionate, mindfulness-based treatment. On Our Own Terms, a Bill Moyers PBS series, The Oprah Winfrey Show, and several print magazines have featured his work. The Dalai Lama recognized him in 2001 for his humanitarian devotion to the dying and their families.
