FULTON J.SHEEN (1895 – 1979) was a well-known Catholic leader in the United States. He was the bishop of Rochester, the national director of the Society for the Propagation of the Faith, and the first religious broadcaster on television, hosting the ABC network's Life is Worth Living. The case for Sheen's canonization is now being considered.
