Geoff  Emerick

Geoff Emerick started as an assistant engineer at Abbey Road Studios in 1962, was promoted to full engineer in 1966, and then left to join the Beatles' Apple Recording Studios in 1969. He continued to engineer for Paul McCartney after the Beatles disbanded, as well as artists such as Elvis Costello, America, Jeff Beck, and Art Garfunkel.
