George Anastasia

George Anastasia is the grandson of Sicilian immigrants who resided in South Philadelphia and spent more than thirty years reporting on crime for the Philadelphia Inquirer. Blood and Honor: Within the Scarfo Mob--the Mafia's Most Brutal Family (which Jimmy Breslin dubbed the best gangster book ever written), The Last Gangster, and The Summer Wind: Thomas Capano and the Murder of Anne Marie Fahey are among his nonfiction works. He is a resident of southern New Jersey.
