George Musser is an award-winning journalist and the author of The Complete Idiot's Guide to String Theory. He is also a contributing editor for Scientific American. The American Astronomical Society awarded him the Jonathan Eberhart Planetary Sciences Journalism Award, as well as the 2011 American Institute of Physics Scientific Communication Award for Science Writing. From 2014 to 2015, he was a Knight Science Journalism fellow at MIT. He's been on Today, CNN, NPR, the BBC, Al Jazeera, and other news programs. He and his wife and daughter live in Glen Ridge, New Jersey.
