Geraldo Valério was born in Brazil and graduated from New York University with a Bachelor of Arts in Drawing and a Master of Arts. His work has appeared in publications in Canada, the United States, Brazil, Portugal, France, the United Kingdom, and China. Friends, Blue Rider, Turn On the Night, My Book of Birds, Moose, Goose, Animals on the Loose, and Jump, Leap, Count Sheep are among his many critically recognized books. He is based in Toronto.
