Gilles  Neret

Gilles Neret was an art historian, journalist, writer, and museum correspondent who lived from 1933 to 2005. He founded the SEIBU museum and the Wildenstein Gallery in Tokyo, as well as organizing major art retrospectives in Japan. He was the editor of art magazines such as L'OEil and Connaissance des Arts, and his publications earned him the Elie Faure Award in 1981. Salvador Dali The Paintings, Matisse, and Erotica Universalis are among his TASCHEN titles.
