Gregory Bassham is a philosophy professor at King's College in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, where he focuses on legal philosophy, critical thinking, and the intersections of pop culture and philosophy. He is also the principal author of Critical Thinking: A Student's Introduction (5th ed., McGraw-Hill), and coeditor of other successful works, including The Lord of the Rings and Philosophy (Open Court) and The Ultimate Harry Potter and Philosophy (Wiley). Bassham received his PhD from the University of Notre Dame, and his philosophical articles and essays have appeared in a variety of journals and books. He has read practically every significant text of philosophy ever written in his 25 years of teaching philosophy. Gregory resides in Pennsylvania.
