Kaplan is a Harvard Business School Baker Foundation Professor and the Chairman of Palladium's Practice Leadership Committee, Execution Strategy. The research, teaching, and consulting of Kaplan focuses on how to integrate cost and performance management systems to strategy implementation and operational excellence. Both activity-based costing and the Balanced Scorecard were co-developed by him. He has 14 books, 18 Harvard Business Review articles, and over 120 more works to his credit.
