Hetty McKinnon is a food writer and cook who is passionate about veggies. Arthur Street Kitchen, a salad delivery service in Sydney, was founded by her in 2011. Hetty and her family moved to Brooklyn, New York, in 2015, where she is the editor and publisher of the ethnic food journal Peddler and presents The House Specials, the magazine's podcast. Hetty is the author of the bestselling novels Neighbourhood and Family. At the Guardian, she writes the weekly The Community Kitchen.
