Howard Chaykin is the creator of American Flagg, Black Kiss, and revised versions of Blackhawk and The Shadow, among other groundbreaking and significant comics from the last several decades. Alfred Bester's The Stars My Destination, Roger Zelazny's Empire, and Michael Moorcock's The Swords of Heaven, The Flowers of Hell were among the science fiction novels he converted into graphic novels. Chaykin also wrote for TV shows such as The Flash, Viper, and Earth: Final War, and worked on themes for the film Robocop.
