Professor of biblical worldview and interpretation at Northeastern Seminary in Rochester, New York, J.Richard Middleton (PhD, Free University of Amsterdam). He is the author of The Liberating Image and A New Heaven and a New Planet, both of which have won awards. Truth Is Stranger Than It Used to Be and The Changing Vision are two of his best-selling books. Middleton's works have appeared in Korean, French, Indonesian, Spanish, and Portuguese, among other languages. He has served as president of the Canada Society of Biblical Studies and the Canadian-American Theological Association.
