Jacquie is a well-known speaker and quilt instructor. In 2014, she was voted quilt teacher of the year by the International Association of Creative Arts Professionals. Jacquie is a pioneer in the contemporary quilting movement and has been on the International Modern Quilt Guild's Board of Directors for the past six years. She utilizes quilting as a means of expressing her devotion to anti-violence, poverty, and diversity concerns. She enjoys being a part of the greater quilting community and is dedicated to enlisting the help of young and new quilters to join the group that has given her so much.
