Janet Lee Carey grew up in California after being born in New York. She is the award-winning author of multiple young adult novels, including the epic fantasy novels Dragon's Keep, Dragonswood, and the upcoming In the Time of Dragon Moon, all set on Wilde Isle. Janet writes and offers writing classes near Seattle, where she lives with her family.
