Janice Hamrick has previously published two books in her award-winning Jocelyn Shore mystery series, the most recent of which being Death Makes the Cut. A Minotaur Books/Mystery Writers of America First Crime Novel Prize, a nomination as a Mary Higgins Clark Award finalist, and a nomination for the RT Reviews Readers' Choice Award are among her honors and nominations. She currently resides in Austin, Texas.
