JANNI LEE SIMNER lives in the Arizona desert, where even dandelions have thorns and the plants know how to bite. Notwithstanding of these factors--or perhaps because of them--she believes she lives in one of the most beautiful places on the planet. Janni is the author of the Bones of Faerie Trilogy, which includes Bones of Faerie, Faerie Winter, and Faerie After, as well as Thief Eyes, a modern Icelandic fantasy. She's also written four books for children and over thirty short tales, one of which was included in the Welcome to Bordertown collection.
