Jedidiah Jenkins is a travel writer, entrepreneur, and the author of To Shake the Sleeping Self, a New York Times #1 novel. Jenkins began his professional career with the NGO Invisible Children, where he helped lead worldwide efforts to abolish the use of child soldiers in Central Africa. He graduated from USC and Pepperdine University School of Law. Peter and Barbara Jenkins, his parents, are the best-selling authors of the A Walk Across America series. He is the executive editor of the magazine Wilderness. Jenkins' art has been featured in publications such as The Paris Review and Playboy, as well as National Geographic.
