Jennifer Echols was born in Atlanta and raised in a small Alabama town on a gorgeous lake, the location for several of her stories. Her nine young adult romance novels have won the National Readers' Choice Award, the Aspen Gold Readers' Choice Award, the Write Touch Readers' Award, the Beacon, and the Booksellers' Best Award, and have been published in seven languages. Going Too Far was a RITA finalist, and the American Library Association nominated it as a Best Novel for Young Adults. Her spouse and son live with her in Birmingham.
