Jennifer Pharr Davis is a hiker, author, lecturer, and National Geographic Adventurer of the Year who has hiked over 14,000 miles across six continents. Jennifer completed the 2,185-mile Appalachian Trail in 46 days, 11 hours, and 20 minutes in 2011, maintaining a amazing average of 47 miles per day. She claimed the overall (male or female) quickest known time on the A.T. by doing so. and set the record as the first woman to do so.
