Jennifer Robbins

Jennifer Niederst Robbins was a pioneer in the field of web design. She has been designing for the Web since 1993, when she was the designer of O'Reilly's Global Network Navigator (GNN), the first commercial web site. She has taught web design at the Massachusetts Institute of Art in Boston & Johnson and Wales University in Providence, and is the author of the bestseller Web Design in a Nutshell (O'Reilly). SXSW Interactive, Seybold Seminars, the GRAFILL conference (Geilo, Norway), and one of the earliest W3C International Expos are just a few of the significant design and Internet events she's spoken at.
