JENNIFER L. JENNIFER L. JENNIFER L. J TAITZ, Psy.D., A.B.P.P., is a licensed dialectical behavioral therapist and a board-certified cognitive behavioral clinical psychologist who specializes in providing people with proven methods to improve their lives. Dr. Taitz is dedicated to assisting people in overcoming habits that limit their capacity for joy. The Association of Cognitive and Behavioral Therapies awarded her debut book, Stop Emotional Eating, a Seal of Merit. Dr. Taitz has spoken at national and international conferences on her new clinical application on mindfulness and emotion management.
She is a clinical instructor in the psychiatry department at the University of California, Los Angeles, and runs her own practice, LA CBT DBT. A part of the earnings from How to Be Single and Happy will be donated to the charitable organization Spreading Dignity and member organizations of Girls Not Brides.
