Jennifer  Trafton

Jennifer Trafton started writing seriously when she was ten years old. She holds degrees from Wake Forest University and Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, as well as graduate studies from Duke University in religion, history, and literature. Trafton also worked for four years as the managing editor of a history magazine. Trafton returned to her debut love, children's fiction, in 2010 with the publishing of her first novel, The Rise and Fall of Mount Majestic (Dial Books for Young Readers). Her novel was nominated for Tennessee's Volunteer State Book Award and the National Homeschool Book Award, and garnered starred reviews in Publishers Weekly and School Library Journal.
