JESSICA MESERVE was born in the U.S. and grew up there and in the U.K. She graduated in Illustration from Edinburgh College of Art, and worked in publishing as a children's book designer before going freelance to pursue a career as an illustrator. She moved to Canada in 2004, and is now living in Edmonton, Alberta with her husband and daughter.
