Jessica Valenti is the author of four books on feminism, politics, and culture, and has been named one of The Guardian's Top 100 Inspirational Women in the World. Jessica is also the founder of Feministing.com, which has been praised by Columbia Journalism Review as head and shoulders above nearly any mainstream media writing on women's problems. Her work has appeared in publications such as The Washington Post, The Nation, The Guardian (UK), The American Prospect, Salon, and Bitch. Jessica graduated from Rutgers University with a master's degree in Women's & Gender Studies. In New York, she lives with her husband and daughter.
