Jill Abramson

Jill Abramson is a Harvard University senior lecturer. She also contributes a biweekly political piece to The Guardian. She was the first woman to serve as Washington bureau chief, managing editor, and executive editor at The New York Times, where she spent seventeen years in the most prominent editorial roles. She worked at The Wall Street Journal for nine years before joining the Times. She lives in New York City and is the author of Merchants of Truth.
