Jim Bishop was a nationally syndicated writer and the author of numerous best-selling novels, including The Day Lincoln Was Shot, The Day Christ Died, and A Day in the Life of President Kennedy. Bishop, who was born in Jersey City, New Jersey, died in 1987.
