Jimmy Gownley is a multi-award-winning comics author who began writing and illustrating comics when he was fifteen years old. Amelia Rules! is his critically regarded series. His most recent work, The Dumbest Idea Ever!, has been nominated for many Eisner awards. He is a cofounder of the nonprofit Kids Love Comics, which promotes comic books and graphic novels as important reading tools. Jimmy is a Pennsylvanian who resides in Harrisburg.
