John D Fitzgerald

John D Fitzgerald

John D. Fitzgerald was born in Utah and remained there until he was eighteen years old, when he departed to pursue a variety of occupations, including jazz drummer and foreign correspondent. His tales of The Big Brain were inspired by his own childhood in Utah, where he grew up with a scheming elder brother named Tom. Eight Great Brain books were born from these reminiscences. Papa Married a Mormon, by John D. Fitzgerald, is one of his best-selling adult books. At the age of eighty-one, he died in Florida, where he had lived for many years.
