John Kenney is the author of the New York Times bestselling collections of amusing poetry Love Poems for Married People and Love Poems for People with Children, as well as the novel Truth in Advertising, which earned the Thurber Award for American Humor. He's been a copywriter for a long time. Since 1999, he has also been a contributor to The New Yorker magazine. He currently resides in Brooklyn, New York.
