John R Levine
John Levine is the author or co-author of a number of books, including O'Reilly's lex & yac, Wiley's Programming for Graphics Files in C and C++, and IDG's The Internet for Dummies. He's also an emeritus publisher of the Journal of C Language Translation, a long-time moderator of the comp.compilers newsgroup, and the author of one of the first commercial Fortran 77 compilers. He is a Ph.D. holder. Yale University awarded him a bachelor's degree in computer science.
