John Hansen is a Professor Emeritus at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry, as well as a recent past-Chair for Medical Education in Neurobiology and Anatomy and Associate Dean for Admissions. The University of Rochester presented Dr. Hansen with the first annual Presidential Diversity Award in celebration of his 24 years of commitment and dedication to increasing the recruitment, retention, and graduation of medical school candidates from various backgrounds. He was the primary consulting editor of Netter's Atlas of Human Anatomy (2-7th editions) and co-editor of the journal Clinical Anatomy. In addition to this coloring book, he continues to write Netter's Anatomy Flash Cards and Netter's Clinical Anatomy.
