Jonathan Wood, the author of thirty-five volumes on the history of motoring, has focused on the histories of Britain's diverse vehicle manufacturers. He has received the Montagu Trophy from the Guild of Motoring Journalists and the Cugnot Prize from the Society of Automotive Historians.
