Joseph J Romm

Joseph Romm is an internationally recognized authority in hydrogen, fuel cells, and advanced transportation technology. Romm is the Executive Director and Founder of the Center for Energy and Climate Solutions, as well as a Capital E principal. Future Directions for Hydrogen Energy Research and Education, a National Science Foundation project, has him as the primary investigator. He is a senior fellow of the Center for American Progress and a fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science. Romm served as Acting Assistant Secretary and Senior Deputy Assistant Secretary at the Department of Energy's billion-dollar Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy.

He was a key figure in the development of the Obama administration's climate change technology policy.
