In his youth, Josh Waitzkin was an eight-time National Chess Champion, and his story was told in the book and film Looking for Bobby Fischer. Josh Waitzkin's Offensive Chess, his first book, was released when he was eighteen years old. He has been the creator and spokesperson for Chessmaster, the world's largest computer chess program, since the age of twenty. He now boasts twenty-one National Championship titles, as well as multiple World Championship titles, as a martial arts champion. He lives and trains in New York City when he is not touring the country giving seminars and keynote addresses.
