Joshua McCune was born on a Brazilian navy post in the city of Rio de Janeiro. He was born in England and raised in Washington, D.C. He attended college in Texas and married in New Zealand. Before becoming an author, he worked as a telemarketing, an SAT tutor, and a robotics engineer. He and his family currently reside in San Antonio, Texas, where he writes stories about people and places only accessible by planes, trains, and automobiles (but not dragons).
