JOYCE MILTON received a degree in library science from Swarthmore College and a master s degree from the Pratt Institute in New York City. She lived in Brooklyn for forty years, pursuing her writing career. She was a noted author of children s nonfiction.
MICHAEL DOOLITTLE has written and taken photographs for many nonfiction books for children, such as the Step into Reading titles Choppers, Motorcycles, Trains, and Monster Trucks. He lives in Connecticut.
