Bill Ripken is a studio commentator for MLB Network, appearing on MLB Tonight and other shows. He began his Major League career with the Baltimore Orioles in 1987 and went on to play for the Texas Rangers, Cleveland Indians, and Detroit Tigers. Ripken Baseball is owned or operated by Ripken and his brother, Cal Jr., and includes four youth baseball complexes as well as the Aberdeen IronBirds, the Baltimore Orioles' Class A affiliate. They were also co-founders of the Cal Ripken, Sr. Foundation. Baseball is brought to underserved communities through the foundation. Ripken is a Maryland native.
