Juhani Pallasmaa is a well-known architect and architectural thinker in Finland. His prior posts include Rector of Helsinki's Institute of Industrial Arts, Director of Helsinki's Museum of Finnish Architecture, and Professor and Dean of Helsinki University of Technology's Department of Architecture. He has also served as a visiting professor at a number of universities throughout the world.
