JULIE COHEN grew up in Maine and went to Brown University and Cambridge University to study English. She then relocated permanently to the United Kingdom, where she taught English before pursuing a career as a writer. The Romance Novelists' Association Award, the National Readers' Choice Award, and the HOLT Medallion are among the awards she has won or been nominated for. She currently works full-time as a writer and offers creative writing classes. She resides in Berkshire, UK, with her husband and son, where she is constantly mocked about her American accent.
