At Cambridge, Justin Pollard studied archaeology and anthropology. Has worked as a historical writer and consultant in cinema and television for the past ten years. His filmography includes Elizabeth and The Four Feathers, as well as over twenty-five documentary series, including Channel Four's popular archaeology show Time Team. He is the author of the Channel Four series Seven Ages of Britain, for which he also produced a series.
