Kate Manne is a philosophy associate professor at Cornell University, where she has been teaching since 2013. She earned her master's degree from MIT and was a member of the Harvard Society of Fellows as a junior fellow. Manne, the author of Down Girl, has written for a variety of media, including The New York Times, Boston Review, HuffPost, The Times Literary Supplement, and Politico. Prospect (UK) just named her one of the World's Top 10 Thinkers.
