Rooftoppers, Cartwheeling in Thunderstorms (a Boston Globe-Horn Book Award winner), The Wolf Wilder, The Explorer, and The Good Thieves are among Katherine Rundell's works. She was born in Zimbabwe, raised in Belgium, and now lives in Oxford as a Fellow of All Souls College. She starts each day with a cartwheel and believes that reading is nearly identical to cartwheeling in that it turns the world upside down and leaves you gasping for air. She enjoys trespassing on Oxford college rooftops and walking on tightropes in her leisure time.
